as if things didn't suck enough right now already. you had to go and do this?
i hate you. more than you will ever know.
i can't afford this right now.
not that it's ever a good thing when something gets stolen, but this really really hurts.
my whole life was on that laptop. all the pictures i've taken on my road trip? yeah. they were on the laptop.
my work? on the laptop.
and i don't have a backup. because a couple of weeks ago my external hard drive stopped working.
i don't have the money to replace it either.
of course, to earn that money, i'd need my laptop. not only did you take my memories and my current work, you took my source of income. fuck you.
oh. and you got my wallet. my credit card, my debit card (all canceled within an hour, if you were wondering). my id.
my costco card.
now i can't even drown my sorrows in a five gallon tub of ice cream...
but those things i can replace. eventually i can replace the laptop... but i can't replace the data. that's what hurts the most.
i'd say things couldn't get any worse, but they'd prob'ly find a way.

hey i feel the same way, i'm a student whose laptop was stolen with all of my school work from the previous year. Plus everything in the bag of the laptop which was money (lucky american money it was stolen in Italy), and my student ID which is a bitch to get another one. I know how you feel and it sucks.

Hey,,,if anything your post on this blog has helped cheer up a lost soul like me who was so upset today that last night, some bad arses opened the boot of my car and stole my laptop and the laptop bag which contains my passports, my BACKUP Hard DRIVE (AARGHH!!) and all my music, data, work, website designs, etc, etc. Man, thanks for posting,as you can see, I was that upset that I actually typed "bastards stole laptop" into Google search, which shows you how pissed i am. But it is more than that, IT Identity theft and security issues go way deeper, and this could yet affect me adversely yet. I am just grateful that there is a blog post out there on this site where someone posted on the completely lousy feeling this situation brings. As for me, I will live in the provisions of Jesus Christ, so i am fine, but gotta hand it to these people and thieves, for them, someday their 'PRINCE' will come.

Hey dude... I'm really sorry I couldn't find the box with the serial number on it that night at 4 in the morning...
And it really really sucks about the lost data and the expense of replacing it... I hope things start turning out a bit better for you- you've had a run of bad luck lately...

People are mean. I can't even describe the disgust I have in them sometimes. I'm sorry one of them got all your stuff/memories/data, etc. That is beyond frustration. Hang in there..
